June 25 - Zaza's Trattoria, located on 20th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue North, has just opened this week and is already garnering a lot of attention from local patrons.

"We LOVE Mafs! I have never had anything bad there, and service is always attentive. ..."

"Great place. Simple and authentic. Not impressive with regard to decor or presentation. But the food itself is the experience. I've tried everything on the menu and it's all great. Curry goat or chicken with a Ting to finish it off makes for a great day in downtown Birmingham. Not open on Sunday..."

"I was not impressed. The decor is WEIRD and the bartenders rolled their eyes at even the ladies. Odd place. Perhaps a shell company for further shadiness...."

"I went for my first Valentine's as a married couple - most disappointing dining experience. Terrible food. One person even got sick from the scallops. ..."
